Maybe what we have here goes beyond the exchange of money and it is an opportunity for people who care about young people to be around and help them - that really is the "job" of older people, paid or not. Just at it is an opportunity for young people who have no older people around to tell them first hand about history to have an opportunity to learn that the past still exists, in that how and what people are and do dosen't change, just the clothing and manmade things do. Famlies are not just created by shared DNA.

Maybe one should stop to consider it is one's time on earth they exchange for money so "money" really represents more than what it can buy and only the cold hearted look at it as only "callous."
