There are lessons in history that support the view of the Tao. The overwhelming repression in Argentina and Chili was stopped only after many years and many thousands of victims.

Certainly the same lessons apply to China, but with it as a nuclear power, the largest population of any country in the world, lets hope the government bureaucracy doesn't distract the restive population by making war.
