Do you have a spam issue on this website; I also am a blogger, and I was wondering your situation; many of us have created some nice methods and we are looking to swap techniques with others, why not shoot me an e-mail if interested.

Mr Crane, this is an excellent post (and blog). This discussion is fascinating, and both you and Li make valid points, though I can't help thinking that on some level you are talking past each other. It seems to me that 'cultures' run far deeper than values, and this is an area which needs more debate (at which I have taken a modest stab here: http://porcupear.wordpress.com/2012/05/27//)

Eric Li makes a much more nuanced and accurate set of arguments in defense of the Chinese government, economics and society in this debate with Minxin Pei. He pretty much demolishes most of Pei's arguments and makes Pei come off like an old capitalist ideologue and running dog apologist of US style "democracy" (an oxymoron if there ever was one).
